Publix

The Publix was manufactured by the Publix Motor Car company in Buffalo, New York (USA) in 1947. The vehicle had an 6ft aerodynamic body that was made from aluminium along with an aluminium chassis. Power came from an air-cooled 1.75hp Caufflel engine that was attached to an unique shock-absorbing rig connected to the drive mechanism and finally to the rear  wheels. Another unique feature of the Publix was that the steering wheel could be removed from the left-hand side to the right at will. The Publix ceased manufacture in 1948.
