The Plume School Micro Project (Feb - June 2001)

Exclusive coverage of the building of a new 3-wheeler.

3-Wheelers.com is honored to provide coverage of a new 3-wheeler that is being created at the Plume School in Maldon. (UK)

John Revell (John R), a well known figure on the 3-wheelers.com Message Board, is part of the maintenance team at the school who keeps the building and equipment running. John R does the engineering work and mechanical repairs and has a workshop on the site. He has devised a project for the pupils to build a 50cc 3-wheeled micro car. (The Plume Micro) and so on Fridays he become a 'teacher' for the micro  project and part of the workshop is used for the car building which then has to be tidied away for the maintenance work on Monday. John R along with three pupils, Robert, John and Mathew will be spending around four to five hours building the car every Friday. As the weeks go by you will be able to track the progress of the Plume Micro on this site. When the project is then complete the vehicle will be added to the A-Z section of this site.

Note June 2001: The first group working on the project have left and at the moment no plans for a second group to take over have been made. Keep watching this space for further details.
